Welcome to the 66th Birthday Lunch of te 2/18th Battalion A.I.F. Association at teh NSW Bowler's Club, in York St, Sydney on Saturday, 16 Dec 2006. Welcome to our Assoication's 66th Birthday Lunch. Describing details of the new book - A History of 2/18th Infantry Battalion AIF, based on original book - Against All Odds, but with SIGNIFICANT corrections and all new nominal and honour rolls. Also launching the new web site - www.218battalion.org.au Di Elliott is responsible tirelessly worked on researching and correcting the nominal and honour rolls for the 2/18th (and others). Back row, to the right of the tree is G.J (Johnny) Wade from 2/4 MG billeted with 2/18 on Blakrang Mati (now Sentosa) just after surrender of Japan and release of POWs.
